Maxi
"This is Maxi, a German Shepard who was suffering from diarrhea for about a whole year. I took her to 5 different Vets, even a UW vet, I couldn’t wait 6 months for an appointment so they referred me to a Chicago veterinarian specialty center and after numerous poop samples and blood tests none of them ever mentioned an EPI test.
I tried everything you can think of, pumpkin, supplements for sensitive stomachs, even fecal transplant (Animalbiome). In the past year I spent $7000 for all the vets and the fecal transplant pills, and Maxi was only getting worse and kept losing weight.
Until I felt helpless and asked in Facebook. Less than a few hours later many people told me to demand that the vet check for EPI which I did. After searching for availability of the test or appointment, I finally found a VCA that’s an hour and 30 minutes from me, and could do the test for me the next day. A week later the result came back and we started with Pantenex. Day 3 Maxi’s poop was perfect in the past months. She gained weight and her mouth is not smelling bad anymore. Her skin looks better and she has much more energy!
I can’t imagine what would happen without Pantenex!
